In the 2000’s, Mike Dooley of TUT’s Adventures Club (TUT) began using his Notes from the Universe platform to raise money for a selected charity every month. Since then, millions of dollars have been sent directly by subscribers to the chosen charities, tracked and reported by each charity’s website.

As the years went by, we began to concentrate our fundraising on a very small number of charities to make the biggest difference for each. In 2023 Gifts from the Universe, Inc. (GFTU), was registered in the U.S.A. as a 501(c)3 Nonprofit Organization to manage TUT’s own donations and to enable others to donate as well (while also preserving the option for subscribers to donate directly to our supported causes). TUT covers all GFTU operating and overhead expenses, meaning that 100% of all public donations are sent directly to our chosen charities.
